Feeling #blessed – Alan able to join me

What a treat to have Alan join me for a walk that went beyond the usual block-circuit stroll we usually just seem to manage! Though yesterday’s walk wasn’t particularly long – just a couple of kms – it was wonderful to be outdoors beneath clear skies on such a stunning day with him. Definitely #smilingontheinside and one of those #GreatToBeAliveDays!

Before Alan headed off for another overnight, we wandered around Chartwell Park together. There are a few entranceways – we chose the Bankwood Road entrance with the exit on Herbert Avenue, in Queenwood.

It was another glorious Beautiful Blue Dome Day (BBDD) here in the Wonderful Waikato. I was determined to make the most of those clear skies – you never know when the weather might turn, right…?

I know I probably sound like a broken record, constantly gushing about how fortunate we Hamiltonians are with our abundance of parks, greenbelts, and walkways that enhance our city’s beauty… but it’s just soooo true! We truly are blessed!
