An Ordinary Day Made Extra-Ordinary

Same Ole… Same Ole…

Until about 16:30, my day was pretty ordinary.

I’d pulled my hair out with software that wasn’t going as I wanted – lately, that’s been pretty ordinary.

It had rained pretty much all day. Again, becoming ordinary.

I Flagged the Fuel at $2.12/litre

Until I went to the supermarket. There was a special on fuel – 91 was selling for $2.12. I did contemplate filling up my tank but decided the $3 (tops) I’d save on the price down the road wasn’t worth sitting in a queue for 20 or 30 minutes.

My tank was half full, so I’d be lucky to save $1.50. Hardly worth it.

When I arrived at the supermarket (where the fuel was on special) there were about 20 or 30 cars crawling along to the pumps. When I came out, that queue was much longer.

Eye-Catching…

Ordinary became Extra-Ordinary when this caught my eye! I #smiledontheinside.

Record Time Around the Block

I had a short window between people today so decided to see how fast I could walk around the block. It took me one song – Billy Joel’s The Piano Man – at 6.2kph.

Back in the day that used to be my regular walking pace. Now I consider it racing.

I walked hard and fast in time with the beat – I worked up a glow and got the blood pumping and the lungs working definitely #smilingontheiside.
